Review of Elvira: Mistress of the Dark (1988) by Patrick Y — 02 Nov 2014
Elvira, Mistress of the Dark is a love letter to the schlocky horror films of the 50s and 60s. Its campy vibe is thoroughly entertaining, as well as Elvira's numerous saucy double entendres. It's a tad dated and the film loses some of its steam and humor towards the end, but overall this is the perfect film for a silly, spooky evening.
