Review of Elling (2001) by Miikka O — 06 Sep 2008
Funny, sweet film about two people living in an apartment together under government housing. They're forced to become independent and in the end they do ,but its not the point of the film. Where they get to point B is funny.
Elling is one of those comedies that never exaggerates or exploits its characters. Its genuine. The characters are fully developed and keep continuity. You may find yourself not finding any connection with Elling ,but the film grows on you. Its a fun film. A great rental.
