Review of Elling (2001) by Andrew S — 13 Jan 2009
This was a delightful film, the characters were likable and relatable they develop as the story moves along but they still retain their certain quirks and anxieties despite their progression which I liked.
I loved how the director almost had the audience in the restraunt scene were it appears if he is going to announce the child died but it really didn't the director took us from one extreme emotion to the opposite in a matter of seconds.
That is a sign of a truely brilliant filmmaker.
