Review of Elizabeth: The Golden Age (2007) by Paul M — 04 May 2009
It certainly looked good and Cate was her usual good self but I found it lacking something. It was entertaining for all its toying with accuracy but somehow the fact that it swapped the historical depth for a more personal approach was also its undoing, for me anyway.
Also Clive Owen once again shows he is a master of delivering every conceivable emotional response with the same tone, genius.
