Cate Blanchett reprises her role as the incomparable Queen Elizabeth, daughter of Anne Boleyn and Henry the VIII [whom I just saw in the "The Other Boleyn Girl"...how appropriate]. I found the film very dramatic, entertaining, and an overall gem continuing the tale of one of the great rulers of Britain's past.
