It's very slow and talking of ages and gold it really does take an age for her to show any signs of gold. Blanchett, talented as she is, really has to give it all emotionally in this role. A tough one I'm sure, but its hardly entertaining.
And does Clive Owen EVER change character from one movie to the next?
