This is my FAVORITE time of year! I can be completely anonymous too.

Yesterday my best friend called me and said she had started to get screeners from the Academy Awards.

She said come over and lets watch some. We do this every year since neither of us can find husbands but that is besides the point. HAHA.

She has been a member for 15 years and this is our yearly ritual as soon as the screeners start to pour in.

Plus I never have to go to the movies.

We began with Dunkirk, but we are not war girls.

Then we came across Elizabeth Blue.

We looked it up on IMDB because we were not familiar, but my girlfriend said she remembered reading something in the Hollywood Reporter about it.

We read about the filmmaker and found the the lead actress talking about it on the Sag-Aftra foundation.

We turned it on. In seconds we got chills from the opening music selection and how it was set in a not familiar place.

For the next 90 minutes.

We laughed, were scared and cried our eyes out.

By the end of the film we were stunned in a very profound way.

Im an actor also and this film is brilliant. This is the kind a role an actress just beginning her career dreams of.

Anna Schafer who played Elizabeth is brilliant. The directing by Vincent Sabella is perfection. The camera work and simple story make this a heartbreaking love story not to be missed.

My girlfriend has already placed her vote.

I will be voting for SAG for sure if this film it campaigning to the actors branch. Ms Schafer you have my vote!

Such a Brilliant film with an important message I can't say enough.

P.S. We drank another bottle of wine after the film and continued to talk go back to the film to certain moments and cry our eyes out.

SPECTACULAR FILMMAKING! Elizabeth blue is simple pure Love, Joy, and exception no matter what your issue is. The critics that loved this film, You are ver wise. The ones the did't A***********.

The best of success with Elizabeth Blue. I hope the industry discovered it like they have done in the past with smaller films its rare, but my friend and I are your biggest cheerleaders right now!
