Tropa de Elite may not be a brilliant movie, but it is quite well constructed. Tight, clean and thorough, you leave the theatre having "been there". One scene sucked the wind out of me. In a way this film is excellent at showing how ridiculous the class conflicts in Brazil are.
How dehumanizing it is. It all seems more like an intense up-to-date Castle Wolfenstein. You don't want to die, and you shoot everything in your path. Darwin still does his worst in Brazil.
