Review of Elf (2003) by Katie K — 18 Jan 2013
A light-hearted, slapstick and unrealistic comedy which overall in my opinion wasn't really funny and only bordering on silly, not 'Dumb and Dumber' silly though - worse. Big adult elf played by Farrell, who doesn't really fit the role, maybe that was the idea, a black swan, ugly duckling so to speak.
A long lost Father of the elf in the big city and a girl that doesn't ask too many questions and tends to like him rather too quickly. Not exactly a reality movie. Family and kids fun favorite, Christmas Day afternoon movie after a big lunch perhaps.
