Review of Elevator to the Gallows (1958) by Gary K — 02 Sep 2008
The best moments occur with Jeanne Moreau who is electrifying on screen. The lush score just oozes noir. The light storyline and suspense are a bit dated now, so the film doesn't work as effectively as it should.
I could've just watched Moreau as she clearly shines in her breakthrough performance.
