It builds-up, tells you what's going to happen, then makes you wait. A heavy movie, fantastically done and very interesting to watch unfold. Another great movie by Gus Van Sant.
EDIT: Three people have told me how pretentious this movie is, and how much they hated it, so it really is love or hate.
