Review of Elephant (2015) by Dan T — 21 Aug 2010
Positives: It's unique; you see the point of view from a selected number of students. You see pretty much the first three hours of about 5 of the student's day right up to the first murder. I have never seen anything like it. It also has the right tone for the type of film it is. It makes you feel uncomfortable like something bad is about to happen at any moment. It's short at just over an hour long.
Negatives: It may be too unique for some; this style may not sync well with others, it is repetitive and at one point you may ask how many times are we going to start over with a new student?
Overall: Recommend it to all, it's short quick and makes you think, see it if you get the chance.
