Good and realistic movie about school life just before a school shooting. Why only three stars? Well mr Van Sant used way too many long steadicam shots of people just walking with camera filming the person from behind.
It's cool when it's used a few times like in Pulp Fiction or Reservoir Dogs. In Elephant it helped to set the mood and made the movie special, but a bit boring and too minimalistic for my taste.
I would have liked more dialog.
