The Passengers movie presents a very interesting and potentially realistic concept that is definitely interesting to see depicted in this stunning movie. However, parts of the story are flawed and could have been way more slick had they been presented differently.
What if in old age one died before the other and one was left alone again? Surely they could have then used the last hibernation pod so that they could make it to Homestead and tell their story? Things like this could have added more strength to the story line and also opened up opportunities for a second movie.
