Review of Election (2005) by Waldo I — 08 Sep 2008
I was trying to figure out why Matthew Broderick was an endearing character despite all his flaws, and I couldn't figure it out until today. It's because he's Matthew Broderick. Given just the screenplay, he's an unlikable protagonist; sometimes it all comes down to casting the guy that reminds you of Ferris Bueller.
