An outstanding High School/teen flick and the closest anybody has come to emulating John Hughes since John Hughes. Reese Witherspoon is fantastic, there's some real darkness and the character work is so good and so human that often you don't know whether to love them or hate them.
Could have done with losing the last ten minutes though.
