Tricky, manages to make everyone from the self-righteous teacher to the lesbian peripheral character look ridiculous, but has enough bite and pathos and sardonic amusement to keep me happy. Might be a full 4 stars -- my DVD wouldn't play the last few scenes, so I'm not sure.
