Review of Election (2005) by Ivan K — 13 May 2011
Election combines the angst of high school, midlife crisis of adulthood, and hilarity all in one. I wasn't sure what to make of it within the first 45 minutes, but it grew on me. However, I really can't see myself watching it more than once or twice.
Alexander Payne does his thing. The acting is pretty great and I found myself caring for pretty much all of the characters...except maybe Reese WItherspoon's. I'd expect it to be kinda hard to find anyone who cares for her character.
Anywho like I said, it's a decent film.
