I like this better than the first. It comes off as more authentic, since the over the top Big D is out of the picture, and the majority isn't occupied by a scramble for the Dragon Baton. The white collar crime and business dealings are neat.
The torture sequence is grimacingly gut wrenching. Plus, Louis Koo offers an exceptional performance as Jimmy.
