Review of El Topo (1970) by Izzie - — 20 Jun 2008
Jodorowsky annoys me as a person as he tries to create himself as much as he does for his scripts. Mostly by telling absurd stories about himself. Still, this movie is nothing less than psychodelic, goes unusually well with a bit of weed (as it was meant to be).
Not a great masterpiece but a must-see for anyone seriously interested in films. Mysticism, violence and a taste of late 60s' "revolution" (whatever is your attitude towads it)...
