Review of El Topo (1970) by Ryan R — 23 Jul 2009
Well, this film wasn't as good as Holy Mountain or any Jodorowsky in my opinion, but it still struck a chord in surrealism that hadn't been hit previously in my mind. Let me start off by saying that the cinematography, and the desert came together and made something exquisite and haunting.
I can't say this is was the best of surrealism, but it was great, and worth a viewing for any surrealism aficionados!
