Review of El Norte (1983) by Rodney G — 31 Jan 2010
A story on reasons and journey, people from Central America migrated â??illegally- to the US. The film is divided in three parts, approximately 45 minutes each, starting with peaceful village life in Guatemala ruined by peasant-government conflict, the second describes long journey across borders, and the final part painful reality amidst hope in the north.
Great movie that deserves more viewing in the US.
