Review of El Greco (2007) by Xen K — 31 Aug 2009
The only compliment I can give this film is that it had great potential. Unfortunately, the plot (especially the first half) moves at a snail's pace, the acting is absolutely horrendous, and the sets and costumes look like they came out of a school theatre.
While there are occasionally some nice moments and beautiful shots, overall this is a disappointing mess. Why they are using it as a poster child for Greek cinema is beyond me, as we have countless better films.
