Review of El Dorado (1966) by Justin M — 14 Jun 2006
Perfectly good western. John Wayne doesn't quite convince me that he should be considered a legend, but then, he doesn't do anything to hurt his stature either. I like the juxtoposition of the classic Western makeup (the bad guy is the best gunslinge in the West, and the good guys have to think of a way to deal with him) that makes things relatively fresh.
Not much wrong with this that I could see.
