Review of El Dorado (1966) by John D — 05 Aug 2007
A solid western starring two great film badasses, and one of the legendary Howard Hawks' last directorial efforts. It shares a lot of stereotypical themes with its contemporaries, such as land grabbing, a sheriff in trouble and an gunman turned good, but it manages to entertain with some tense action and some hilarious bits.
Recommended.
