Review of El Dorado (1966) by Grant S — 27 Mar 2011
This is a good one with John Wayne and Robert Mitchum as they are getting a little older. A young James Caan was a great addition here in his first big role. This is the second to the last of the team of John Wayne and Director Howard Hawks and I enjoyed it immensely.
Although there are some similarities to the prior Rio Bravo, I didn't think it was almost a re-make of it like some do....there were tons of differences.
