Review of El Dorado (1966) by Mikey M — 14 Oct 2009
One of Hawk's final films pitches the marvelous talents of Wayne and Mitchum together with a capable supporting cast. The interplay and wit is razor sharp and this is perfect sunday afternoon entertainment.
The weakest moment is Caan's ill conceived impersonation of a Chinese man at one point, but that aside this film brims with confident writing and direction.
