Morbidly fascinating eye opener; felt a bit disturbed to see such talent risking health on mind numbing drugs & exhibitionistic yet unsatisfactory sex.. didn't know Hector Lavoe & the Fania Records era was steeped in what a NIDA actor might happily call an irrationally hedonistic world.
I haven't seen Jenniffer Lopez act so well before. She da man. Also didn't know Merengue was poised to eclipse Salsa toward the end of Hector Lavoe's run.
