Review of El Cantante (2006) by Rosina C — 25 Nov 2007
The music in this movie was fantastic, but otherwise the plot was very repetitive and unremarkable. The costume designers did a horrible job. There is one particular scene where Lavoe is having a concert in the streets of Puerto Rico that is supposed to take place in the late 60s early 70s where everyone is wearing today's fashion.
I was actually confused for a moment thinking that maybe they had fast forwarded to today...but they didn't.
