Ekaj is an intense depiction of life on the street, with captivating performances by the two leads (Jake Mestre and Badd Idea), whom I found equally mesmerizing. Incredibly strong handed direction, this film goes beyond the boundaries of most.
It was darker and deeper, weirder and cooler, more intense and less prudish than the average slice of life drama you might normally see. Beautiful and provocative at the same time, I definitely recommend!!
