An 8 for 'Eighth Grade!' I don't know how he did it, but famed Youtuber and comedian Bo Burnham truly triumphs with this gem of a directorial debut! Between his confident sense of direction for all of the actors and scenes to Elsie Fisher's relatable and completely natural performance, this is one teen/school flick that really hits home in more ways than one! At times, it might just make your heart ache for these characters and their certain situations, but it's also almost guaranteed to put a smile on your face at least one time or another.
