Review of Eight Men Out (1988) by Jeremy G — 23 Jan 2008
The only movie other than Hotel Rwanda that ever made me cry for hours. Granted, I was about 14 the last time I saw it... But the Joe Jackson/Buck Weaver injustice stands as an enduring example of the (continuing) idiocy of the commissioner's office -- and of the folly of weak men who would dare to throw away what so many of us would have done anything to have.
