Review of Eight Men Out (1988) by Josh H — 25 Mar 2008
From everything I've read, the movie is pretty darn close to historically accurate (save a few things here and there) -- which is pretty impressive considering that Hollywood isn't known for being kind to history.
But this is a really great baseball movie, and does a nice job of telling one of the truly sad stories in sports history. Hopefully someday Shoeless Joe Jackson will have his name cleared.
