Review of Eight Men Out (1988) by Mark M — 13 Dec 2006
[b][font=Times New Roman][color=Yellow]Very well-made and well-acted film with an all-star cast and top-knotch writing. It's clear that everybody involved knows the true story well and wants it to be as accurate as possible. It has a real feel of sentimentality to it. The only real drawback is if you are not a fan of baseball and don't know a whole lot about the infamous rigging of the world-series, it may be difficult to understand. But overall, very well done.
