Review of Edward Scissorhands (1990) by Kerby H — 22 Sep 2012
This movie shows up the behavior of the society that we are a part of. The characters are the perfect example of the human being's actions. Nobody's perfect and although there are good people with good values and moral, those people may have a dark side, flaws, something that they don't expose.
Every character in this movie is nice but they all do judge Edward, the protagonist somehow. And what director Tim Burton is trying to tell us is that we shouldn't judge people because they're different, we should embrace their differences and accept them so we can give an example and show the true value of humanity.
A beautiful and memorable fairytale that we can all appeal to, with a gothic visual and charismatic performances by it's leads, particurally Johnny Depp.
