Wouldn't you simply die without this film? As Frank puts it "Probably not" but I have a deep affection for it nonetheless. I just watched it again for the first time in years and it all came flooding back to me.
This was how I expected university to be when I got there, I was a decade too late though and I don't think I ever got over the disappointment that none of my tutors were like Frank. I now work in a university and am still bitterly disappointed that there isn't a Michael Caine clone stumbling about the campus.
