Stunning performances from Julie Walters and Michael Caine in this captivating drama. Update: Just watched this again on Film Four last night. The soundtrack is great, stirring emotions with recurring motifs and there are plenty of poignant moments such as the line, "Found a better song to sing have you? No - you've found a different song, that's all", and the ending.
May well up it to 4.5 stars next time I watch this film.
