Review of Edmond (2006) by Max N — 02 Jan 2017
A bit reminiscent of the Michael Douglas movie Falling Down, this indie drama based on a David Mamet play is more subtle but much less entertaining. Macy, as usual, is awesome. The downfall here is the story move too slowly and the tragic incidents that befall poor Edmond this night are all of his own making.
None of it had to happen and life would have been better had it not. Not much of a moral.
