Review of Edmond (2006) by Charles H — 10 Aug 2007
You might see every twist in the plot coming, right up to the very end. Nevertheless, you keep watching, because of the genius of Mamet. He somehow makes you want to start yelling at the protagonist as he starts making mistakes and digging himself deeper, incrementally.
William H. Macy is brilliant as he undergoes the film-plot version of death by a thousand cuts.
