Review of Edmond (2006) by Liam M — 15 Jul 2008
Stuart Gordon does it again :-D this extremely thought provoking film of a man desperately trying to find some sort of meaning to his life is often brutal, often very funny, and VERY well acted by everyone involved, especially William H Macy, who really gave a shockingly realistic portrayal of the psychotic aspects of his character, while still keeping him likeable. A career-best for him, surely!
A disturbing and very memorable character study, questioning the apparent pointlessness of everyday life, and searches for a deeper meaning to it all. Very recommended.
