Review of Edmond (2006) by Arwen S — 09 Sep 2008
There are certain stories that need to be visual to be complete and there are certain stories that need to be literary. This was one of the latter. As a movie it was incomplete, there is just no way that the emotion and meaning inherant in the characters and circumstance can be portrayed in a visual format.
It was very well acted (particulary by Macy) and the gist of it is there, but it is let down in never really fully exploring to the depths that it should have and left me feeling thoroughly unfulfilled.
