Review of Edmond (2006) by Nick F — 21 Jan 2009
One of the most engaging movies I've ever seen, but most independent films are. This one does not fail to keep you interested in William H. Macy's troubled character, Edmond, and it's basically what Macy WOULD'VE done in Fargo if he wasn't so pathetic--imagine that.
Based on a play by David Mamet, how can you go wrong? One of the most graphic murder scenes is included, so watch out for that. Definitely a movie for those who have ever wanted to just DO as they decide, without thinking.
