Review of Eden Lake (2008) by Krawalla R — 06 Nov 2009

Familiar setting of the woods, the remote but supposedly romantic get-away and the antics of the leading lady in her process of escaping, let down the movie slightly. That said, the idea of hoodlums terrorising the sweethearts and their indulging parents were disturbing enough to engage viewers.

I would have preferred to see tension building up a bit more before the actual killing starts, the kids were just not evil enough and I actually felt empathy for a couple of them kids! Still think it is a good watch!
