Of course the main story follows Eddie "the Eagle" Edwards who is trying to realize his lifetime dream of competing in the Olympics by way of the ski jump, but it is also the story of another man's Olympic dream as well.
His coach, played by Hugh Jackman, is also trying to overcome his lifetime failures, by being accepted by his old ski jumping coach. Both men help each other overcome failure in this hilarious and feel-good movie.
