Review of Ed Wood (1994) by Jacob F — 11 Apr 2011
This is a wonderful entry from Tim Burton. It features a charming performance from Johnny Depp as the title character and a brilliant one from Martin Landau, who deservingly won for his portrayal of Bela Lugosi.
To me what makes this film special is that it shows Ed Wood as a man who is passionate about filmmaking and he didn't stop trying despite negative reviews. Overall, I consider this one of the best of 1994.
