Since I had first heard of Edward D. Wood, Jr., I had had a quiet and distant fascination with him. While never finding the opportunity to watch his films, I had read a biography on him, and it astounded me how passionate he was with his work.
Seeing this movie brought the vision to a much more solid focus. Depp brings to life the enthusiasm of Wood so wonderfully, and most every choice that Burton made brought a great feeling to me. This is an elegant personification of the emotions of the "great" filmmaker.
Now I must watch everything by him.
