Review of Ed Wood (1994) by Lucy W — 13 Jul 2013
An affectionate look at one of the most infamous directors of all time. Thumbs up for Burton's endearing portrayal of Wood pursuing his unique artistic vision; almost like a child trying to fight for his dreams.
Landau is truly remarkable here: his moving and humane performance as Bela Lugosi is one of the most touching I've ever seen. Wonderfully filmed. Highly recommended!
