Ohh Tobe Hooper, he showed such promise with texas chainsaw massacre, salems lot and poltergeist, but he also made some real pieces of shit, like the funhouse, this is just garbage, a cheaply made B movie, its hard to believe that a director who clearly has talent could go and make something this stupid, the plot is stupid, the acting bad, the crocodile looks fake, the villains motivations make no sense, he also uses a little girl in peril quite a lot, which can be done well like in poltergeist, but here felt exploitative and cheap, the only bright spot is seeing robert englund as the original buck who likes to fuck.
