This movie is beautiful.
A widow and his daughters communicate (or not) through a Sunday dinner ritual.
We meet the family, and see how they are pulled into different directions...the tranquility of routine is wrinkled as life presents different dilemmas.
The preparation of meals takes center stage and even serves as entendre throughout the film.
Subtleties of relationship, family secrets, personal ambition versus family obligation, and tension are all featured in this film.
