Really enjoyed this movie. Don't believe the stuff written on the DVD cover - it's not about food and sex...this movie is about relationships, family, good food, rituals, traditions, growing up.
..hopes, dreams, fantasies, realities, disappointments... I love the food preparation scenes and how food becomes the means of communicating different things, how important family events and decisions are shared over significant meals.
..how food can be used to communicate...
